On the Eastern Express, which sets off from Istanbul, there are many different personalities, as well as the world's most famous detective, Hercule Poirot. On the very first night, a brutal murder occurs on the train. The hotheaded businessman has been stabbed multiple times and everyone who could have done it has witnesses. Moreover, the compartment where the murder took place is filled with more evidence than necessary. Poirot is experiencing troubled moments for the first time in his life. Who or what killed the victim and why? Are people who seem like an ordinary group of passengers actually hiding something? When the train gets stuck in the snow on a mountain top, Poirot races against time to find the murderer or murderers before the police arrive.
