They won the "Chamber Music Ensemble of the Year" award at the first Andante magazine Classical Music Awards held in 2010, and the gold medal in the 2010 ICMEC International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition, which finalized at Carnegie Hall in New York in the same year.
Borusan Quartet also contributed to Turkey's contemporary music repertoire by performing the first works written for them by Oğuzhan Balcı, Mahir Cetiz, Turgay Erdener, Özkan Manav, Alper Maral, Turgut Pöğün, Meliha Doğuduyal and Hasan Uçarsu, and also contributed to the contemporary music repertoire of Turkey by performing the works "From Edirne to Kars and Stringed Instruments" written for them by violinist and composer Aleksey Igudesman. He also performed the world premiere of his works titled Quartet and Cem Oslu's work Until Eye Opens Close, which he composed upon the order of Borusan Sanat for the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
